Getdownnn Love Jay

Like with a lot of things, you don't really know what you've got 'till it's gone. I think the same could be said for me with Jay Dee/J. Dilla. I was really feelin' him when he first started to get some play with De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, etc. But by the time Common's Electric Circus rolled around, I had had my fill of the whole Soulaquarian sound. But recently with Dilla's birthday coming up, I decided to fill the CD changer in the ride up with songs that I have overlooked. It's been said before, but Dilla is one of the illest to ever do it.
