Happy Birthday Black Moses

Still sorely missed, I still remember the first time I heard The Theme For Shaft while watching Shaft (remember those Saturday afternoon blaxplotation or kung-fu movies) as a kid (that and the theme from The Car Wash) and wondering what kind music that was. I loved the fullness of the funk/soul. Then to later discover that much of the hip-hop that I was listening to was built off of Isaac's masterpieces.
